Hand crafted one row at a time

The hand loomed rugs of today—much as the name implies—are constructed row-by-row on a loom. Contemporary, hand loomed rugs differ from pieces crafted on a traditional hand looms, in that they have a substantial pile. This is the result of innovation within the industry. In the past, pieces woven on a hand loom could have only been considered flat weaves (rugs without a substantial pile). These pieces are considered excellent mid-range options for those seeking a high-end look without the economic weight.
